Sustaining our communities

Sharing our human and financial resources helps us support better health across the communities where we work, live, learn and play.

Each year, our associates support more than 20 charities and organizations, such as the United Way, American Heart Association, The Arc of Rockland, the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Meals on Wheels, the Center for Safety and Change, which supports victims of domestic violence, and multiple other groups that help families and individuals experience healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Our associates take part in walks and runs that raise awareness and funds for research for children’s cancer, individuals with multiple sclerosis and other health issues. They collect toys and clothing for children from low-income families during the holidays, help keep the shelves full at local food pantries, sort clothing donations for a women’s shelter, clear hiking trails, paint offices and much more.

See examples of how our associates are making a big difference in their communities.

Associates donated money for the chance to dump ice buckets on our CEOs, and the company matched these donations. Overall, Nice-Pak and PDI associates helped raised thousands of dollars to support ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) research and awareness.
