Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ed provides leadership to the finance, legal and business technology functions at Nice-Pak. Ed is known for driving growth and building high-impact teams with his deep expertise in corporate finance, M&A and restructuring.

Ed’s tenure includes chief finance roles at entrepreneurial private companies in the consumer-goods space. They include Kendall-Jackson Wines, where he built the finance team and assisted in multiple acquisitions, and Terlato Wine Group, where he led a full scope of corporate financing activities. Ed’s experience also includes building the finance function at Nutro Products, a Bain Capital portfolio company and producer of all-natural pet food, and TDBBS, a Bregal Partners portfolio company and producer of premium, all-natural dog treats. Ed began his career at the Arthur Andersen audit practice in Chicago, where he rose through the ranks to partner.

Ed is a certified public accountant and has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in accounting from the University of Illinois. Ed and his wife Sandy have two adult sons and live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where they spend their free time collecting wine and boating on Lake Michigan.
