World of Wipes Innovation® Award 2010, 2011, 2012: The prestigious award is presented by the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) and recognizes the product that most expands the use of nonwovens, as well as demonstrates creativity, novelty, uniqueness and technical sophistication within the entire nonwoven wipe value chain. Our new Moist Toilet Tissue dispersible technology was a finalist for the 2014 awards.
Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) Award: The PLMA presented Nice-Pak with the 2012 Salute to Excellence Award for the Kirkland Signature Moist Toilet Tissue we produce for Costco. The award recognizes outstanding products introduced on the shelves of supermarkets, drug chains, mass merchandisers, wholesale clubs and specialty retailers from coast to coast.
Category Colonel Awards: Since 2003, Nice-Pak wet wipes have received numerous Category Colonel Awards from PLBuyer. The publication presented the awards based on reader votes across multiple categories. In 2013, Nice-Pak won the Silver Award in the Facial category and the Gold Award for the Pre-Moistened Wipes category. In 2012, Nice-Pak took home the Silver Award for Baby Products.
Championing Sustainability
Walmart Corporate Responsibility: In February 2015, the Walmart Consumables and Health & Wellness teams presented Nice-Pak with their Corporate Responsibility award. This award recognizes sustainability improvements in our plants, products and packaging.
Walmart Sustainability Recognition: Walmart and its Sustainability Office presented Nice-Pak with a Certificate of Appreciation in 2013 for our energy efficiency program that contributed to the elimination of 20 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from Walmart’s global supply chain.
Rockland Business Association Green Award: In 2014, the Rockland Business Association’s Green Council recognized our sustainable business practices by presenting Nice-Pak with the Council’s Green Award in the large company category. The award recognizes companies with environmentally conscious business practices, such as the Nice-Pak solar panel installation, zero-landfill practice and installation of LED lighting at two Nice-Pak facilities.
City Water & Light Environmental Excellence: City Water & Light recognized our Jonesboro, Arkansas, manufacturing facility and several other companies for Environmental Excellence in 2014. The Jonesboro plant has received the recognition for 6 consecutive years. City Water & Light recognizes companies in the Jonesboro area that protect water quality and the environment through full compliance with Federal, State and local waste discharge regulations.
Supporting Healthy Communities
Simona & Jerome A. Chazen Business Award: In December 2014, the Center for Safety & Change, a Rockland County, New York, nonprofit organization serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes, presented our company with the Simona & Jerome A. Chazen Business Award for our support of domestic violence victims in Rockland County. This honor recognizes our active community support through funding for the Center and associate volunteer support at the Center.
Customer Recognition
Walmart Quality Improvement Honor: In August 2014, the Walmart Private Brands Quality Team chose Nice-Pak as the vendor success story for the month. The honor recognized significant quality improvements in EQUATE® and PARENT’S CHOICE® wipes that helped Walmart grow its business results and improve customer satisfaction.
